Almost Plug and Play, Good Operation
Pretty decent setup. Mostly plug and play, but you do have to "T" tap 4-5 wires. Instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. Install took about 2 hrs but turned out great, nothing looks out of place.
Remote start functions great. Good range, all operations worked as they were supposed to. The only downfall I've found in the entire system is that it taps into your parking lights, horn, dome light, and door locks. So it is bypassing the original keyless entry device completely. Well everything worked like the original keyless entry except for the approach lighting no longer functions while using this setup.to unlock the doors at night. Little disappointed that the feature just no longer works. You can use the original key fob and the come as like usual, but this module doesn't tap into them, so it will not work. Would be a perfect setup if this feature was reatined.
Overall, seems like a good product with no cutting wires, easy to follow instructions, and functions properly.
